Website maintenance for healthcare providers

Help patients find your practice and reach the booking page.

Patients want to compare prices, find a professional and book an appointment. ResaHost maintains your public WordPress website and checks booking links monthly or weekly, depending on your plan.

Booking often starts on a phone

Patients search for nearby physiotherapy or check dental prices before booking. A broken booking button can stop the enquiry there.

We check agreed links, forms and appearance as part of maintenance. The booking provider remains responsible for the booking system itself. Embedded booking features and responsibilities are reviewed before contracting.

Someone owns the update routine

ResaHost's WordPress maintenance covers core, theme and plugin updates. Basic includes monthly updates and testing; Pro and Premium include weekly maintenance. Backups are taken daily in two locations.

Servers are located in Finland and support is available in English. Adding staff profiles, prices or images is agreed separately.

Send health information through an appropriate service

The public website introduces your practice and directs patients to booking. Symptoms and other health information belong in a service selected for that purpose. An ordinary WordPress contact form should not collect patient records.

The website TLS certificate encrypts the browser connection. That alone does not make a form or the email it sends suitable for health information. Read about email encryption. We also agree where general enquiries should go.

When does NIS2 cover healthcare?

Healthcare providers may fall within NIS2 according to their activities, size and legal exceptions under national implementation. Not every small practice or wellbeing business is covered. Group relationships can also affect scope.

For an organisation within scope, extends far beyond its website. ResaHost documents public website maintenance. Patient systems and the practice's wider security responsibilities belong in their respective agreements.

Migration starts with your website address

Send your website address and current maintainer's contact details. Before migration, we review booking connections, domain control and email arrangements.

Basic costs €69 per month (excluding VAT). Pro adds weekly updates and testing for an active site. We agree a migration window that fits your practice.

Frequently asked questions

Can we keep our existing booking system?

Yes. The public website can link to your current booking system. Any embedded features and their testing are reviewed before contracting.

Do you maintain patient record systems?

This service covers the public WordPress website. Patient records and patient services should come from a supplier equipped for that purpose.

Does the service suit a single-practitioner practice?

Yes. Choose the plan according to website use. Even a small site needs updates, backups and a working booking link.
