You choose the hosting. We handle the move.
We handle the agreed migration of your website, domain and email, with checks before switching traffic. A typical move takes 1–3 working days once access is ready, planned to minimise disruption.
How the move works
Tell us about your website
Choose a plan or call us. We agree the scope, access requirements and any preparations with you before starting.
We handle the migration
We move the agreed website, domain and email services and check them before switching traffic.
We take care of the maintenance
We handle the agreed updates, backups and monitoring. If something goes wrong, you have one team to call.
What we move
Website and database
We transfer the website files and database and check that content, settings and key functions work in the new environment.
Domain name
We update DNS to direct your existing domain to the new hosting. Your address stays the same, with the switch planned around DNS caching and service checks.
Email accounts
We agree how to transfer addresses and existing messages, keeping the old email service available during the transition where needed.
SSL and security
We configure SSL, firewall protection and malware monitoring as part of the new hosting setup, with automatic certificate renewal.

Before you decide
Do I need to cancel my existing services myself?
You do not need to handle the move alone. With your authorisation, we coordinate the agreed transfers with your current provider. We agree which services to cancel and when, so nothing essential is closed too early. Your existing agency can continue handling website content and development.
Do I need maintenance if my website will be rebuilt soon?
Yes. A new website also needs maintenance after launch. Keep your existing web developer and let ResaHost handle the agreed technical upkeep. We coordinate responsibilities and check hosting compatibility before migration.
