What ResaHost handles
WordPress maintenance keeps core, theme and plugin updates on an agreed schedule. Backups are taken daily in two locations. Hosting, the SSL certificate, domain management and the plan's security monitoring are also included.
Pro and Premium include weekly updates and checks of forms, links and visual changes. Checkout, payment and integration testing are scoped separately, including who fixes any fault.
Backups must fit your order volume
A daily backup provides a foundation, but a busy shop may receive many orders between copies. Before contracting, define the maximum acceptable order data loss and required recovery time.
More frequent backups or on-call incident support must be assessed separately. A plan's support response is a response time, not a promised resolution time.
Does NIS2 cover online shops?
Operating your own online shop does not by itself make your business a NIS2 entity. An online marketplace under the directive is distinct from a company's own store. Other business activities may still bring the company within scope under national law.
